ROCK – Ammar Tchalabi VS CAPO – Andrea Signorini.

It’s Phuket vs Pattaya as long term Thai resident CAPO takes on ROCK in a welterweight contest. CAPO Signorini, from Italy has been living in Thailand for over a decade and has a 1-0 professional MMA record and a background in power lifting. ROCK Tchalabi is a much more recent arrival but he also has a record of 1-0 as well as some professional Muay Thai experience.

The winner of this fight will proceed to the Quarter-Final level of the DARE Championship and be one step closer to becoming one of the first DARE Champions and the receivers of the One Million Dollar Grand Bonus.

ONE MILLION DOLLARS. IN A CAGE. GAME ON.

ROCK – Ammar Tchalabi has been honing his stand up skills at Phuket Top Team and competing regularly at Muay Thai. He describes himself as a well rounded fighter who won his only professional MMA fight by way of submission. ROCK has also developed a reputation in Thailand as being something of a knock out artist winning all three of his most recent Muay Thai fights with highlight reel KOs.

ROCK represents Phuket Top Team, Thailand.

CAPO – Andrea Signorini has been doing martial arts since he was a child and has a background in Judo and boxing. He took a long break from competing when he switched to powerlifting for almost ten years, but is now fully focused on his mixed martial arts career. He won a bronze medal at the 2011 Thailand Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Opens and has a perfect professional MMA record of 1-0 with his only win coming by way of submission.

CAPO represents Kombat Group at Pattaya, Thailand. For more information about Kombat Group, please visit: www.kombatgroup.com

Here are the thoughts of veteran MMA journalist James Goyder,

“This should be fun because neither fighter will be afraid to stand and slug it out in the centre of the cage. If it does go to the ground it should be quite even but I expect to see Signorini use his boxing skills and look to let his hands go. The Rock will be confident after a series of recent KOs and will want to put his knees and elbows to good use and this one could go off with a bit of a bang” he said.
