In the highly competitive world of BJJ this places him very near to the top of the tree and the Brazilian is known to have been working extremely hard on his stand up skills.

JAMES GOYDER’S PREVIEW

James Goyder is a freelance journalist who is based in Bangkok and has been covering the martial arts scene in the region for the last three years. He is the owner of the South East Asian MMA website and his articles have appeared in newspapers, magazines and websites such as Fox Sports, ESPN Star Sports, Fighters Only, Bloody Elbow, the Bangkok Post and The Nation.

He is excited to see another fight being added to the Dare 1/11 card at such short notice,

“This is a fight which most MMA shows would be happy to have as a main event so the fact that it has been added to the card at such late notice is a real bonus for the fans.

Kheder is a true veteran who has been in there with some of the best in the business and has some of the strongest Judo skills in the world of MMA. Moreira is definitely the underdog but his BJJ is outstanding and if the fight goes to the ground he will feel he has a clear advantage, even though his opponent is also something of a submission specialist.

Moreira has been working very hard on his Muay Thai and stand up skills and it looks set to be an extremely close and well contested contest,” he said.

The fight will take place at DARE 1/11, on the 25th of June at Club Insomnia Bangkok.

Doors open at 4pm – Fights start approx. 5pm.

Only 300 tickets available!
